GreenCardClock: Free Tool for EB Green Card Priority Date Estimation

GreenCardClock is a newly introduced free web application designed to assist employment-based green card applicants in navigating the complex EB immigration process. The tool aggregates historical Visa Bulletin data, I-485 inventory figures, and spillover information to generate priority date movement estimates. The Priority Date Estimator allows users to input their country of chargeability, EB category, and priority date to receive three scenario-based projections: conservative, base, and optimistic. These estimates are based on historical trends and are intended as planning guides rather than definitive predictions. The Salary Explorer feature provides compensation data organized by employer, job title, and city, offering applicants insight into prevailing wage benchmarks relevant to their EB petition. This can be useful for understanding whether an offered position meets DOL wage requirements. The Employer Tracker component displays H-1B sponsorship history for specific companies, including new versus continuation filings, approval rates, and wage levels.
