The U.S. Department of State has published the Visa Bulletin for March 2026, which sets the priority dates governing when employment-based and family-based immigrant visa applicants may move forward in the immigration process. For EB-3 applicants — including skilled workers, professionals, and other workers — the monthly Visa Bulletin is a critical document that determines whether a case is 'current' for filing adjustment of status applications or receiving an immigrant visa at a consulate abroad. Applicants and their employers should compare their priority date (the date a labor certification or I-140 petition was filed) against the Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing charts published in the bulletin. USCIS will separately confirm which chart applies for adjustment of status filings in a given month. EB-3 applicants from high-demand countries such as India, China, Mexico, and the Philippines are particularly affected by Visa Bulletin movements, as those queues remain heavily backlogged. Even small forward or backward movements can significantly impact filing eligibility. Applicants are encouraged to consult the full March 2026 Visa Bulletin on the Department of State website and to work with a qualified immigration attorney to determine how the updated dates affect their individual case.
