The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has officially released the November 2026 Visa Bulletin, bringing notable forward movement across multiple employment-based and family-based immigrant visa categories. The cutoff dates below are drawn from the Final Action Chart (Chart A), which determines when a visa number may be issued or an adjustment of status application approved. For EB-3 skilled workers and professionals, the cutoff date advances to June 15, 2024 for all countries except China (January 22, 2022), India (January 22, 2014), and the Philippines (August 15, 2023). EB-3 Other Workers also advance to June 1, 2022 for most countries, with India moving to January 22, 2014 and China holding at October 1, 2019. This forward movement is significant for applicants from retrogressed countries who have been waiting for their priority dates to become current. In the EB-2 category, cutoff dates advance to April 1, 2025 for all countries except China (October 1, 2021) and India (November 1, 2013). EB-1 sees China advance to August 1, 2023, while India holds at February 1, 2023 and all other countries remain current. EB-4 remains at December 15, 2022 across all chargeability areas. For EB-5 investors, the unreserved category remains current for all countries except China (December 1, 2016) and India (December 1, 2023). All EB-5 set-aside categories — rural, high-unemployment, and infrastructure — remain current worldwide, offering a potential path for investors seeking faster processing. Applicants planning to file Form I-485 in November should not rely solely on the Dates for Filing chart (Chart B) until USCIS officially designates which chart to use for November 2026. As of October 22, 2026, USCIS's adjustment-of-status filing charts page still reflected October 2026 data. Applicants are strongly advised to monitor the USCIS website for the official November chart selection before submitting any adjustment of status applications.
