June 2025 Visa Bulletin: EB-3 Final Action & Filing Dates Released
The State Department has released the June 2025 Visa Bulletin detailing Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing for employment-based immigrants. Oversubscribed chargeability areas include China, India, Mexico, and Philippines.
The U.S. Department of State has published the June 2025 Visa Bulletin (Volume XI, Number 3), which governs immigrant visa number availability for the month of June. The bulletin establishes both Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing Applications, which determine when applicants may submit adjustment of status applications or assemble documentation for consular processing.
For fiscal year 2025, the worldwide employment-based preference immigrant limit remains at least 140,000 annually. The per-country cap is set at 7% of the combined family-sponsored and employment-based totals, equating to 25,620 visas per country. Currently oversubscribed chargeability areas subject to these per-country limits include China-mainland born, India, Mexico, and the Philippines — countries whose nationals face the longest wait times across EB categories.
EB-3 applicants should monitor the USCIS website at uscis.gov/visabulletininfo to determine whether USCIS has authorized the use of Dates for Filing (rather than Final Action Dates) for adjustment of status filings in a given month. When USCIS determines visa supply exceeds known demand, the more favorable filing dates become available.
Allocations reflected in this bulletin are based on documented demand received by May 2nd. If any category becomes oversubscribed during the fiscal year, further number requests will be suspended. Applicants should consult the full bulletin charts for their specific country and preference category to determine their current filing eligibility.
