H-1B Lottery Results 2026: FY2027 Selections Now Releasing via myUSCIS
USCIS has begun releasing H-1B lottery results for Fiscal Year 2027. All selected registrants will be notified by March 31, 2026, with employers receiving results through their myUSCIS accounts.
H-1B lottery results for Fiscal Year 2027 have started to roll out, according to attorneys at Manifest Law. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is in the process of notifying selected registrants, with a deadline of March 31, 2026 for all notifications to be sent.
Employers sponsoring H-1B workers will receive lottery selection results directly through their myUSCIS online accounts. This is the standard channel USCIS uses for official case communications and registration outcomes.
For EB-3 applicants, the H-1B lottery outcome is relevant as many workers on H-1B visas are also pursuing or considering employment-based green card pathways. Those not selected in the H-1B lottery may look more seriously at EB-3 as an alternative long-term immigration route.
Applicants and employers are advised to monitor their myUSCIS accounts closely through March 31, 2026. Those selected will need to file a full H-1B petition, while those not selected may need to explore alternative visa categories or timing strategies for future lottery cycles.
USCIS finalized FY 2027 H-1B cap selections on March 31, 2026. Selected petitioners may file starting April 1 using the new Form I-129 edition. Overseas winners face a $100,000 fee under a Trump presidential proclamation.
USCIS may blacklist applicants who attempt to game the H1B lottery through passport renewal, employer changes, or wage level manipulation, according to an official I-797C notice.
USCIS completed the FY2027 H-1B lottery on March 31, 2026, using a new weighted wage-level selection process for the first time. Selected employers have 90 days (April 1–June 30) to file petitions, with employment eligible from October 1, 2026.
